Standard Imaging launches new QA software

Radiation calibration and quality assurance firm Standard Imaging has released its new LinacView quality assurance (QA) software program.

LinacView provides real-time log file monitoring and analyzes machine performance for each fraction.

It requires no external hardware and features a five-button software interface. By using a listener program, log files are automatically transferred from the linear accelerator to LinacView, where they are analyzed in real-time, alerting the physicist as soon as an error occurs. LinacView monitors all critical beam parameters up to 25 times per second with 0.01-mm accuracy, according to the vendor.
