Radiation therapy equipment developer RefleXion Medical has appointed Thorsten Melcher, PhD, as its new chief business officer.
Prior to the appointment, Thorsten oversaw strategic business planning, collaborations, and venture financing as the chief business officer of biotechnology company Xyphos Biosciences. He additionally served as senior director of new ventures at Johnson & Johnson Innovation and as vice president of Varian Biosynergy, a subsidiary of radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems.
Thorsten also formerly held a position on RefleXion's scientific advisory board.
