Radiation therapy developer RefleXion Medical has announced a contract to provide its biology-guided radiotherapy (BgRT) technology to Integrated Proton Solutions (IPS), a turnkey proton therapy provider in the U.S.
Through the multiyear contract, RefleXion will provide its X1 machine with BgRT capabilities to multiple IPS centers that provide external-beam radiotherapy to treat malignant tumors. The companies anticipate the first center to house both BgRT and proton therapy will open in the middle of next year.
