SDMS names Kerns to CEO post

The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) announced that Donald Kerns will become the organization's new CEO effective January 1, 2014.

In his new position, Kerns will also serve as the CEO for two SDMS-affiliated organizations: the SDMS Foundation, a public charity, and the SDMS Political Action Committee.

Kerns joined SDMS in 1999 as its first chief information officer and currently serves as the society's chief operating officer.
