The CEO of ultrasound acoustic measurement and testing firm Acertara Acoustic Laboratories, G. Wayne Moore, has been named the new chair for the ultrasound technical committee for the Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance (MITA).
MITA is the medical device division of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). It develops standards for medical imaging and radiation therapy equipment, Acertara said.
