Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas recently installed its Sonimage HS1 handheld ultrasound scanner and Sonimage MX1 portable ultrasound scanner at several healthcare institutions and sports medicine practices in the U.S.
Sonimage HS1 has been installed at the five offices of the orthopedic group Boston Sports and Shoulder Center in Boston and at the Cleveland Clinic Sports Health Center in Garfield Park, OH. Sonimage MX1 was installed at the University of Washington's athletic department.
Both ultrasound scanners are optimized for diagnostic musculoskeletal imaging and guided interventional procedures, including injections of regenerative therapies, according to the company.
To show its commitment to promoting ultrasound education, the company will host eight workshops and learning center sessions at the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation's annual congress, which is being held November 14 to 17 in San Antonio. It will also feature live scanning in booth No. 731.
