Digital archiver Emageon of Birmingham, AL, has announced an exclusive agreement to provide HANYS with its image archiving and distribution services. Emageon said the deal will give more than 500 members of the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) access to Web-enabled archiving, management, and distribution of DICOM images.
HANYS members will be able to immediately archive diagnostic images and simultaneously make them available to healthcare professionals across an intranet, the Internet, or a virtual private network, according to Emageon.
