Time's running out for your SalaryScan participation

Dear AuntMinnie Member,

Just a few weeks remain for you to participate in AuntMinnie's 2006 SalaryScan Survey, which we're using to collect data for our SalaryScan salary and benefits database.

Thousands of radiology professionals have already filled out the short survey, which collects the data that enables AuntMinnie members to compare their compensation packages to those of their peers. SalaryScan tracks salaries based on a wide range of criteria, including modality specialization, region, and years of experience.

You can review the SalaryScan database with 2005 data at jobs.auntminnie.com. But radiology is a constantly changing field, and participating in this year's survey will help us help you by providing the most up-to-date information available.

To participate, just go to salaryscansurvey.auntminnie.com, where we'll be taking votes through March 13. As always, survey submissions are completely anonymous.

When you're done with the survey, check out a story we're featuring this week in our X-Ray Digital Community about a study that investigates fatal reactions to x-ray contrast media. The researchers found that while adverse events that lead to fatalities are rare, they do happen, and there is remarkably little data on the types of agents involved in fatal events.
