Lung imaging software developer Vida Diagnostics has expanded its board of directors, appointing former Vital Images chief executive Erkan Akyuz as an independent director.
Akyuz will help guide the company's growth initiatives with his healthcare IT leadership and market expertise, according to the company.
Akyuz is the president and CEO of healthcare IT interoperability companies Rhapsody and Corepoint Health. Previously, he served as president of medical imaging, workflow, and care solutions for McKesson Technology Solutions and as the president and CEO of Vital Images.
