Image analysis software developer Diagnosoft will introduce its Diagnosoft SENC strain-encoding MRI processing technique at next week's 2009 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
The technique is designed to allow physicians to precisely assess regional function of the heart, measure mechanical dyssynchrony, achieve a consistent and objective diagnosis, and accurately measure the effectiveness of treatment therapy, according to the Cary, NC-based firm.
The SENC module is part of Diagnosoft v2.0, which also includes performance enhancements and a T2 module for expanding the power and compatibility of the suite, according to the company.
