The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared medical imaging software developer SyntheticMR's SyMRI Image postprocessing software.
The clearance is initially for use with GE Healthcare's MR scanners, the company said.
Going forward, SyntheticMR plans to apply for FDA clearance for its SyMRI Neuro software, according to the firm.
