RSNA commits to AI with 2 new spotlight courses

The RSNA announced the details of two new regional spotlight courses that will feature the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in radiology.

The first course, "Radiology in the Age of AI," is centered on understanding the role of AI in medical imaging as well as learning how to use related tools and techniques. Course attendees will have the opportunity to discuss various aspects of AI directly with industry partners and leaders, including keynote speakers Dr. Andrew Ng, CEO of Landing AI, and Dr. Lloyd Minor from the Stanford University School of Medicine.

Dr. Udo Hoffmann of Massachusetts General Hospital and Dr. Matthew Lungren of Stanford University Medical Center will direct the course, which will take place May 31 through June 1 in San Francisco. Early-bird registration via the society website will end March 15.

The second spotlight course, "Comprehensive AI for Practicing Radiologists," will take place May 3 to 4 in Paris. Presented in English, the course will aim to provide radiologists with the necessary tools to adopt AI into their clinical practice.

Dr. Nabile Safdar of Emory Healthcare and Dr. Marc Zins of René Descartes University will direct the course. Full details are now available online.
