Artificial intelligence (AI) image analysis software developer Lunit has received approval from the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its Insight for mammography software.
Insight for mammography is an imaging assistance software application that relies on AI to help clinicians detect and grade suspicious breast lesions on mammograms. The AI algorithm is designed to facilitate rapid and accurate diagnosis of breast cancer and has been trained on more than 200,000 mammograms, Lunit said.
The software is currently in use at several hospitals and clinics throughout Korea. Free demos of Lunit's Insight for mammography and Insight for chest radiography and are available online at the company website.
