Software developer RadLogics announced that its Virtual Resident artificial intelligence (AI) software has been selected by ChainZ Medical Technology in China for integration with its Smart Cloud PACS/RIS.
ChainZ services more than 380 hospitals in Jiangsu, Liaoning, and Shaanxi to support imaging data that cover all major modalities, including CT, x-ray, and MRI.
After medical images are uploaded to the ChainZ PACS/RIS, Virtual Resident analyzes and interprets the images to automatically provide objective measurements and numeric characterization of findings. That information can be added to the final radiology report.
