Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Rhino HealthTech has raised $5 million in funding to further develop its AI-based healthcare datasets and models. LionBird Ventures led the financing round.
Rhino Health's models are based on the machine-learning technique called federated learning. The company is collaborating with Nvidia to bring federated learning to clinical settings; in fact, it co-led the EMR CXR AI Model (EXAM) study with Nvidia researchers last fall.
Rhino Health's platform has been incorporated into Nvidia's Clara software, and the company is a member of Nvidia's Inception AI startup incubator.
