Graphics processing unit (GPU) technology developer Nvidia's framework Project Medical Open Network for AI (MONAI) has released an intelligent open-source image labeling and learning tool.
MONAI Label v0.1 aims to help researchers and clinicians collaborate, create annotated datasets quickly and easily, and build artificial intelligence (AI) models in a standardized MONAI model. This new tool enables the adaptation of AI models from a clinical task by continuously learning from the user's interactions and new labels.
Also, the tool powers AI-assisted annotation that allows users to make improvements to their applications with feedback from clinicians, who often are the end users of imaging models.
