In an expanded partnership agreement, artificial intelligence (AI) breast imaging software developer Densitas will integrate additional software applications into the Blackford Platform.
One Densitas product, densitas riskAI, is a point-of-care rapid risk assessment tool designed to support tailored follow-up breast screening protocols and help clinicians identify the right patients to refer to supplemental mammography screening.
A second application to be integrated on the Blackford Platform is Densitas' densityAI program, which provides standardized breast density assessments in alignment with the American College of Radiology's BI-RADS fifth edition guidance.
As part of the Blackford Platform, Densitas' products will be more accessible to the broader U.S. market, and customer integrations can be simplified, company representatives said.
