RadNet's Aidence enters licensing agreement with Google Health

Aidence, a lung artificial intelligence (AI) subsidiary of outpatient diagnostic imaging services provider RadNet will license Google Health's AI research model for lung nodule malignancy prediction on CT imaging.

Aidence will develop, validate, and commercialize a deep-learning model to support the early diagnosis of lung cancer and the reduction of unnecessary procedures in screening programs. Google Health will provide its scientific expertise, according to RadNet. Aidence plans to develop the model into a solution for clinical practice.
