The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared Qure.ai's AI-driven chest x-ray algorithm, qXR-CTR.
qXR-CTR is a deep-learning-based algorithm that automates cardiothoracic ratio assessment on chest x-rays. It measures the ratio of the maximum transverse diameter of the heart to the maximum inner transverse diameter of the thoracic cavity, the company said. It is Qure.ai's 12th FDA-cleared algorithm.
