Spectral AI has received an award of more than $850,000 from the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC), which it will use to support the ongoing development of DeepView SnapShot M.
SnapShot M is Spectral AI’s handheld predictive burn wound healing device intended for use in battlefield assessment and is based on the company’s DeepView System platform.
The MTEC is a biomedical consortium collaborating with the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity. Inclusive of this additional award funding, total nondilutive government funding for DeepView SnapShot M has exceeded $7 million, Spectral AI said.
DeepView SnapShot M is designed to be included in the triage process by providing wound assessment so that patients with more severe burn injuries can be prioritized for evacuation.
