NEC Display Solutions of America has added two displays to its MultiSync MD series and is showing them at RSNA 2014.
The 3-megapixel (MP), 21.3-inch MD210C3 is a diagnostic monitor designed to meet the needs of healthcare facilities using PACS in diagnostic imaging. It includes a front sensor to maintain calibrated brightness and a human sensor that reduces the LCD brightness when a doctor leaves his or her desk.
The 32-inch MD322C8 is an 8-MP, ultrahigh-definition clinical monitor that features four times the resolution of full high definition. Both monitors are calibrated at the factory to the DICOM grayscale function for luminance. It is designed for calibrated, stable brightness, color accuracy, and high pixel density. It also includes an open pluggable specification (OPS)-compliant option slot compatible with 3G/HD/SDI input cards.
The MultiSync MD210C3 and MD322C8 displays are available at an estimated street price of $4,299 and $6,399, respectively.
