Healthcare information systems firm Cerner has promoted Douglas Krebs to lead its international division. Krebs has been at Kansas City-based Cerner since June 1994, and most recently had responsibility for development, sales and marketing, consulting services and client support for five U.S. regions, as well as Canada, Europe and the Middle East. He also managed development of business channels for the company.
Cerner International handles the company's international operations, and the division maintains a direct sales presence in Malaysia, Australia and Europe, while also being represented by channel partners in those regions. This year the company plans to expand its direct sales presence in Europe and the Middle East, while leveraging existing channel relationships, according to Cerner.
