Mayo Clinic looks to Merge for IT connection

The Mayo Clinic will become a test site for Merge Technologies' integrated information systems. The Milwaukee-based company will provide clinical information network components to the clinic, which has locations in Rochester, MN, Jacksonville, FL and Scottsdale, AZ, as well as various affiliated hospitals.

The Merge line of products includes digital image archives and Web-based information for access by referring physicians. The company currently provides information services to 300 clinical networks.
