Merge Technologies reported record revenues in its year-end and fourth-quarter financial results. For the year (end-December 31), the Milwaukee-based firm had revenues of $13.3 million, up 38% compared with the $9.7 million posted in 1998. Excluding charges related to its third-quarter acquisition of Interpra Medical Imaging Network, Merge had a net loss of $1.3 million, compared with a net loss of $1.9 million last year.
Fourth-quarter results also were strong. Merge had revenues of $4 million, a 79% increase compared with the $2.2 million received in 1998. The company had a net loss of $600,000 during the period, compared with a net loss of $1 million in the fourth quarter last year.
