Philips Medical Systems has unveiled Inturis Suite, an addition to its Inturis for Cardiology image management product family. Inturis Suite is an image management network that offers department-wide and enterprise-wide access to digital cardiac images, according to the company.
It can be used with off-the-shelf equipment, and offers online fully DICOM-compliant storage, and automatic archiving to magneto-optical disk. Inturis Suite also provides for remote diagnostic-quality viewing, according to the Best, Netherlands-based vendor.
In other cardiac imaging developments, Philips rolled out Gyroscan Intera CV, a specialized version of the vendor’s Intera scanner targeted at cardiovascular imaging. Intera CV includes a number of features designed for cardiac applications, such as vectorcardiogram triggering, free-breathing coronary artery MR imaging, a comprehensive cardiac MR exam in one session, and an open patient environment, according to Philips.
