StorComm, a digital image management firm, and digital radiography developer Swissray International have joined forces. Under the terms of a non-exclusive strategic partnership announced at this week’s Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society show in Dallas, StorComm of Jacksonville, FL will be able to market Swissray’s digital x-ray product line. In turn, Swissray, based in New York City, gains access to StorComm’s ImageAccess clinical image management systems (CIMS) software.
In other StorComm news, the vendor and its British distributor, BT Health, have received an order for a large-scale implementation of ImageAccess from Walsall Hospital NHS Trust, a district general hospital located near Birmingham, U.K.
