MarkCare forges relationship with IBM

PACS software developer MarkCare Medical Systems of Bloomfield, NJ, has announced that one of its distributors, Chrome Global of Perth, Australia, has partnered with IBM's eHealth division to jointly pursue the Australia/New Zealand clinical imaging market, including PACS.

Chrome Global's sales staff will have primary responsibility for marketing, while IBM will respond to customer requests for proposal (RFP) and serve as the prime contractor supplying hardware and systems integration services. The partnership is already responding to RFPs, according to the firms.
