Teleradiology and PACS firm eMed Technologies has announced agreements with several radiology groups to install the Lexington, MA-based vendor's eMed.net service. Implementation is underway at sites such as Bay Imaging Consultants of Walnut Creek, CA; Summit Radiology of Fort Wayne, IN; Radiology Specialists of Denver; X-Ray Associates of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and others, according to eMed.
Introduced at the 1999 RSNA meeting as an application service provider (ASP) service, eMed.net offers Web-based image and information distribution as well as marketing services, according to the firm.
