Market research and consulting firm Technology Marketing Group has announced a three-year agreement with group purchasing organization AmeriNet to provide research and consulting services in medical imaging and PACS. The three-year contract became effective May 1.
The Des Plaines, IL-based firm will provide a number of products and services to AmeriNet member facilities, including:
- PACS education seminars to prepare staff for migrating to digital image management and telemedicine.
- A short-term PACS evaluation program to assess the feasibility of migrating to digital image enhancement.
- A full imaging operations assessment program to assess the efficiency of imaging services, re-engineer processes, and plan and implement imaging technology, including PACS.
- Technology and specification/request for proposal (RFP) services to help facilities implement new imaging and PACS technology.
- Development of site-specific PACS quality control programs to audit existing operations, develop a quality assurance program, and maintain or improve quality.
