Web-based image and information management firm eMed Technologies has signed a supplier and co-marketing agreement with Axolotl, a clinical information systems vendor in Tampa, FL.
Under the terms of the deal, Lexington, MA-based eMed will add image management capability to Axolotl’s CIS family of products. Axolotl provides access to radiology narrative reports as part of its Elysium suite of clinical information products, and will now use eMed’s Web-based "Images by eMed" management and delivery service to provide access to images through an embedded URL link in narrative reports.
eMed will maintain and manage all image-related communications infrastructure requirements. Both vendors also will co-market each other’s products and services.
