PACS firm IMCO Technologies of Pewaukee, WI, has acquired Information Technology Products of West Chicago, IL. ITP develops medical image management software, as well as software for non-medical x-ray applications such as industrial testing, according to IMCO.
The acquisition will give IMCO added resources in software development, sales and marketing, and engineering and project management, according to IMCO. It will also help the company expand into new PACS and teleradiology markets, particularly with small and medium hospitals and imaging clinics.
