Film, PACS, and computed radiography vendor Agfa has announced an agreement to provide the Health Services Corporation of America (HSCA) with Agfa Diagnostics Center (ADC) computed radiography products and Impax PACS technology to HSCA's member organizations, which number more than 2,000. The deal builds on a relationship already in place between Agfa and HSCA for Agfa x-ray film, printers, and printer networks.
The multiyear contract also includes Impax Basix, the vendor's entry-level version of its IMPAX R4 system software. HSCA member organizations will be able to select from among seven different Impax equipment and software packages designed around ADC and Impax Basix, according to Agfa. Each package also features a full array of PACS professional services, including applications support, project management, and training. In addition to these packages, HSCA members may choose from the full range of ADC and Impax products and services, according to Ridgefield Park, NJ-based Agfa.
