Swedish PACS firm Sectra Imtec has signed a contract with the Gävleborg County Council of Sweden to complete the digitization of all radiology departments within the county healthcare system. Under the deal, a Sectra PACS will be installed at the radiology departments of Gävle/Sandviken and Soderhamm in Sweden, linking the clinics together.
The Linköping, Sweden-based vendor values the order at approximately $1.2 million (U.S.). The system will be operating by the beginning of 2001, according to Sectra.
