Riptide changes name to Avreo

RIS/PACS developer Riptide Technologies has changed its name to Avreo, a derivative of the Greek word for tomorrow. The New Orleans-based firm believes the new name conveys its commitment to using Internet technology to "provide tomorrow’s solutions today."
