3-D software developer Vital Images of Minneapolis has signed a new sales and marketing agreement with Toshiba America Medical Systems. The deal will allow Tustin, CA-based Toshiba to offer Vital Images’ Vitrea software to Toshiba customers and sales prospects as its 2-D and 3-D visualization product of choice. The agreement runs through March 31, 2002.
The firms have also agreed to conduct joint sales training and develop an installed-base program before next month’s RSNA meeting, according to Jay Miller, Vital Images general manager and vice president of business development.
