ECRI launches PACS special issue

Nonprofit healthcare research organization ECRI has launched a special PACS issue of its Health Devices monthly journal. The issue is a collection of articles designed to help guide a facility through the PACS evaluation and selection process.

The report includes:

  • ECRI’s evaluation of systems from Agfa, Siemens Medical Systems, and GE Medical Systems, three of the largest suppliers of enterprise-wide PACS.
  • A PACS implementation guide to help facilities resolve issues relating to PACS.
  • Testing criteria, product profiles, and ECRI’s ranking and ratings.
  • Selection and purchasing guidance.

The Plymouth Meeting, PA-based organization will debut the special issue at next week’s RSNA meeting for a special show price of $395, $100 off the list price.
