Canadian PACS software developer ALI Technologies said that Rice Memorial Hospital in Wilmar, MN, has chosen the firm to implement an UltraPACS network. The multiphase installation will include 11 modalities and 14 workstations located in the main site’s radiology, ER, ICU, and orthopedic departments, according to the Richmond, BC-based vendor.
The network will include modalities such as CT, MRI, angiography, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. It will also expand to CR and teleradiology in the near future, according to ALI.
