Philips Medical Systems of Shelton, CT, and archiving firm StorageTek of Louisville, CO, announced a worldwide co-marketing agreement at last week’s RSNA meeting in Chicago.
The deal allows Philips to sell and distribute StorageTek's products for integration with Philips' Inturis PACS network. It will provide both companies' customers with centralized and managed patient information in a transaction-based data archive.
The firms will also be able to offer customers solutions to share multidepartmental patient archives, reducing the overall cost of storage, according to the companies.
