German software developer GMD introduced version 2.4 of its e-health.solutions Web-based medical record offering at last month’s RSNA meeting. The firm has enhanced the functionality of e-health.solutions for radiology applications, adding scalable viewers that range from simple image review up to diagnostic-quality viewing, according to GMD.
GMD has also added viewing tools such as angle and length measurements, cine mode, scout support (scan lines), and regions of interest. In other viewing enhancements, user-specific interfaces have been added.
The new version also features patient management functions, including automated physician letter and report generation. Images and other data can be transferred from the medical record by a click of the mouse, according to GMD. An electronic form generator has also been incorporated.
