Philips Medical Systems North America and storage and archive vendor InSiteOne of Wallingford, CT, have signed a technology integration agreement. Shelton, CT-based Philips will incorporate InSiteOne’s InDex archive product into its Inturis application service provider (ASP)-based PACS.
The addition of InSiteOne’s open-architecture DICOM archive to the Inturis ASP model will enable institutions to outsource image archiving services. Inturis is the result of co-development efforts between Philips and Linkoping, Sweden-based Sectra-Imtec.
