Kodak reorganizes health imaging unit

Eastman Kodak Health Imaging announced plans this week to consolidate its business units. As part of the reorganization, the Rochester, NY-based company will establish a digital solutions business, as well as an e-health initiatives group.

In addition, the reorganization will consolidate Kodak Health Imaging's five regional geographic groups into two areas: one covering the Americas region, including North America and South America, and one that includes Europe, the Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and Russia.

The company said it will also transfer business processes such as supply-chain management and information technology into a global operations and customer satisfaction group.
