Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services (SMSHS) has released the Health Enterprise Dashboard, a browser-based portal to health information services. The product gives users access to patients' clinical records, as well as application service provider (ASP) offerings such as scheduling, procurement, e-mail, and wireless messaging.
The Dashboard interface can be customized to deliver services such as medical reference materials, transcription facilities access, and links to continuing medical education, as well as daily health, finance, and general news. SMSHS said that by integrating its MagicWeb capabilities into the product, physicians who order radiology exams can also view medical imaging results and images from the desktop.
