Marconi Medical Systems introduced its IntelliView diagnostic workstations at last week’s Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society meeting in New Orleans. The Cleveland-based vendor says the new workstations provide a fully integrated diagnostic solution, offering improved workflow within radiology operations as well as to the healthcare enterprise.
The workstations include the firm’s InterLock study status management system, which coordinates multiple diagnostic workstations to prevent duplicate interpretation. IntelliView also features voice recognition, remote-reading capabilities, and remote service.
Marconi offers optional high- or ultra-high-resolution flat-panel monitors to conserve space and reduce heating requirements. In addition, enterprise integration capabilities allow Marconi’s PACS to become a gateway to information available on radiology information systems, Marconi said.
Marconi will continue to integrate its workstations with RadWorks software provided by longtime partner Applicare, which Marconi enhances with customized hanging protocols. Other software features include selectable screen formats, current-prior study comparisons, and preset annotations for faster image viewing and analysis, according to the vendor.
