Avreo inks deal with Premier Health Services

PACS provider Avreo said it will provide its interWorks imaging center workflow automation software to imaging services vendor Premier Health Services (PHS).

InterWorks includes capabilities such as voice-to-text conversion, digital dictation and transcription, radiologist image review, image storage, and Web-based access to images for referring physicians, according to New Orleans-based Avreo.

PHS currently manages three MRI imaging centers in Chicago, with additional facilities in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas.
