Image and information management software provider ScImage has expanded its distribution agreement with Goodman of Nagoya, Japan. The new deal will expand the firms' relationship beyond interventional cardiology to cover the full spectrum of ScImage NetraMD multimodality image presentation products and PICOM family of image and information management offerings.
For the past four years, Goodman has distributed the Los Altos, CA-based firm's NetraIVUS system for 3-D analysis of intravascular ultrasound images in cardiac cath labs. The new agreement will allow Goodman to also target radiology, surgery, and internal medicine, according to Manabu Shimizu, vice president and general manager of Goodman's research and development department.
