Canadian PACS developer ALI Technologies has signed an agreement with Mayo Clinic-based technology venture TeraMedica to develop enterprise-scale medical image archiving products. The firms also intend to collaborate on technology and market development.
TeraMedica develops, integrates, and markets turnkey enterprise archive systems for all types of medical imaging including radiology, cardiology, and other diagnostic imaging services, according to the company. The new Mayo Clinic venture signed on ALI to provide product development services, and to license the software that will be incorporated into the TeraMedica product development and commercialization process, according to Richmond, BC-based ALI. The two vendors will also cross-license their respective technologies and implement cooperative marketing programs.
