RealTimeImage, Wuestec ink licensing deal

Image-streaming technology developer RealTimeImage (RTI) has signed a licensing agreement with digital radiography (DR) and x-ray manufacturer Wuestec Medical. The deal will enable Wuestec to integrate RTI's iPACS software into Wuestec’s DX2000 DR x-ray receptor, according to San Bruno, CA-based RTI.

The integration will enable Mobile, AL-based Wuestec to offer image-sharing capabilities over the Internet to DX2000 users. In addition, the company secured licensing to market RTI's iPACS software internationally as part of its PACS and related telemedicine products and services.
