PACS and connectivity firm Merge Technologies reported first-quarter revenues of $3.34 million, 2% better than the $3.27 million posted in last year's Q1. For the quarter (end-March 31), the Milwaukee-based vendor had a net loss of $82,000, compared with a net loss of $634,000 for the first quarter of 2000.
Merge is on track to report revenues of $15 million to $15.5 million in 2001, according to president and CEO Richard Linden. The firm expects to achieve profitability in the second half of the year.
