Web-based PACS developer Amicas will provide its image management applications to Radiology Ltd., a Tucson, AZ-based radiology group. The group has approximately 40 radiologists and conducts nearly 500,000 exams per year.
Radiology will use Amicas’ 3.0 software, Amicas/eFilm diagnostic workstation, and Personal Amicas software in its six imaging centers, according to Newton, MA-based Amicas. The group will also employ Amicas' remote reading capability in its imaging services to four Tucson-area hospitals, including the city’s largest, Tucson Medical Center, according to Amicas.
