NCI to use InSiteOne storage

The U.S. National Cancer Institute has chosen InSiteOne's DICOM image distribution and storage services, according to the Wallingford, CT-based vendor.

InSiteOne's InDex service will store and distribute MRI studies as part of a clinical trial to be conducted by the NCI's Pediatric Oncology branch and 10 participating U.S. pediatric hospitals.

InSiteOne also entered into a marketing agreement with CMS Imaging of Charleston, SC. Under the terms of the agreement, CMS Imaging will incorporate InSiteOne's InDex archive solution as part of its AVREO ASP solution.

InSiteOne will showcase its InDex digital image storage and retrieval services at the American Telemedicine Association's annual meeting June 3-6 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
